Tomorrow is the day that one of my goodest, nicest friends is getting married. I am so happy and elated for her! =) Getting and being married is a really gorgeous feeling. You'll always have someone you can look to for support and love, a shoulder to cry and lean on, and someone who can give you a big hug at the end of a hard day's work. Here's wishing B & YM every happiness, joy and blessing that marriage can bestow upon a couple. =)
Tomorrow is also the day that we are possibly getting our rental car, which will be ours for the next three months in Melbourne. A long period to rent a car, but necessary because of the amount of travelling I will have to do for my practicum placement and thesis data collection. Yes, I will be the one driving. Can't say I'm not a least bit anxious, obviously because I am not familiar with the directions here. But hey, I've been driving for 6 years now, so I ought to have more confidence in myself. Anyway, it's almost absolutely necessary that I get a car, because with just walking around the neighbourhood, I'm getting back aches and leg cramps. Can't imagine what lugging all my stuff around on public transport will do to me, especially with my rapidly expanding tummy! I pray and hope that when I drive, everything will be safe and all right.
So far, all plans and arrangements for my studies have been falling into place, with the support of many people, teachers, friends and student advisers alike. Thank God for the blessings! I pray and hope that everything continues to fall into place nicely, leading up to a smooth and healthy delivery in end July.
