Quote of the Day

Take a sprinkling of fairy dust,
An angel's single feather,
Also a dash of love and care,
Then mix them both together.
Add a sentiment or two,
A thoughtful wish or line
A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray...
It's a recipe, for a Baby Girl truly fine.

Fun with templates!

I've finally been initiated into the world of blogging. Was furiously looking for a really nice template and have had the template of my blog changed several times. The html stuff was mind-boggling, to say the least. Someone should come up with an idiot's guide to html (if they haven't already), and I mean a REALLY idiot's guide. Like idiotic idiot's guide or something. Haha, maybe I'm the only idiotic idiot around.

Ramblings aside, I'm really becoming hooked onto all this blogging business. Especially the aesthetic aspects. Bimbo, you say? Gimme a break. I just finished my exams. I NEED to be bimbo. Anyways, considering the idiot that I am to all this html stuff, I of course had help in setting up the templates, in the form of my very sweet engineering significant other. He just ripped apart some speakers and reconfigured them to rival Creative's, so I figure this must be peanuts to him, or even smaller than peanuts. We tried setting up a pretty dreamy-looking one, but it didn't work. So Monster's Inc. would have to suffice for the moment.

Right now, I'm sitting in the air-conditioned comfort of my boyfriend's room, with him sounding really cross cos I'm busy typing my blog and not giving him my undivided attention. No, he's not the attention-seeking kind, just that we've not really hung out and chilled together ever since semester started. He's been really sweet and accommodating all this while, fetching me to school for exams on Saturday, coming over after a long hard day at work to hang out at my place, and buying little presents for me to cheer me up. Sometimes, I really feel like I'm the luckiest woman in the world! =) (So I haven't met all the women in the world, but yah, you get the drift....)

Ok ok, I'm gushing. Haha, sorry I couldn't contain it. Am really on cloud nine now. I'm also looking forward to my job attachment that starts next week. As well as the trip overseas to attend my sister's wedding. Well, looks like it's going to be a really busy three-month break...=) One friend once remarked that it's a wonder how I keep so busy even during the holidays. Hmm, I really don't know actually. It seems to me that everyone's busy someway or another during the holidays, so maybe it's not just me. Oh well...

Happy holidays, everyone! =)
